These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all visits to the Fore Fun venue and to all purchases made through our website, in-venue, or via approved third-party platforms. By making a booking or entering the venue, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Definitions
General Booking (1–9 Guests): standard bookings for individuals and small groups (e.g., mini-golf sessions).
Group Booking / Parties (10+ Guests): packages and functions (e.g., Hens, Bucks, Corporate, Christmas, Team).
Karaoke Rooms: private karaoke room bookings (additional terms in Section 6).
Bar Credit: credit redeemable at Fore Fun for drinks/merchandise as described in these Terms.
Voucher: dated credit issued by Fore Fun with a printed expiry.
Notice period: time before the scheduled booking start.
2. Australian Consumer Law
If a service is not supplied with due care and skill, is not as described, or there is a major failure, remedies are available under the ACL. Where Fore Fun is responsible for a failure, you may choose a reschedule, credit, or refund. “No refund” statements below do not apply where the ACL requires a remedy.
3. Venue Rules & Safety
Follow staff instructions and safety signage. RSA applies; valid photo ID may be requested. Entry or service may be refused to intoxicated or disorderly persons. Minors must be supervised by a responsible adult. No smoking or vaping indoors. Guests are responsible for personal belongings. Damage, misuse of equipment or unsafe behaviour may result in removal without refund.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in AUD and may change without notice. Payment is due at the time of booking unless stated otherwise. Deposits or pre-authorisations may be required. Surcharges may apply for certain payment methods where permitted by law.
5. Booking Policies
5.1 General Booking (1–9 Guests)
Cancellations & Refunds
Change-of-mind refunds are not offered.
If Fore Fun cancels or cannot supply the service, a reschedule, credit, or refund is provided (ACL).
Rescheduling
48+ hours’ notice: reschedule permitted (subject to availability).
Inside 48 hours: no reschedule (assistance may be offered if space opens, at discretion).
One change per booking; additional changes require manager approval and may incur a fee.
Late Arrival & No-Show
Please arrive 10 minutes early; bookings are held for 15 minutes after the start time.
Late arrival may result in shortened play so later groups remain on time; late starts do not extend the finish time.
No-shows: no refund or credit.
Reduction in Group Size
No refunds for fewer attendees. At discretion, up to 50% of the missing guest’s ticket value may be issued as Bar Credit (one-off goodwill).
5.2 Group Bookings / Parties (10+ Guests)
Deposits & Final Numbers
Deposit: 50% payable to secure date/space. Deposits are non-refundable.
Final numbers & balance: locked 7 days prior to the event; reductions after this point are non-refundable.
Changes, Cancellations & Rescheduling (Sliding Scale)
Whole-group cancellation (any time): deposit forfeited. Any remaining balance may be credited only if cancelled 14+ days prior.
Rescheduling:
14+ days’ notice: allowed (subject to availability).
Inside 14 days: deposit forfeited; balance credit only may be offered at discretion.
Day-of shortfall (1–2 or more guests do not attend): no refunds. At discretion, up to 50% Bar Credit of those tickets may be issued as goodwill.
Package changes (food/drink): no downgrades after final confirmation; upgrades accepted if stock allows.
If Fore Fun Cancels / Venue Fault
Technical failure, double booking, safety closure or staffing failure: full refund or reschedule.
Overcharge/billing error: refund of the difference.
5.3 How to Change a Booking
Use the Manage/Confirm Booking link in the confirmation email or contact Fore Fun. A change is confirmed only when an updated confirmation is issued.
6. Karaoke Rooms (additional terms)
Group Size & Pricing
1–12 guests: flat hourly room-hire rate (minimum 1 hour).
13+ guests: charged per head (minimum 1 hour).
If a group books for ≤12 but arrives with 13+, pricing switches to per-head for the entire group; the difference is payable before the session.
Walk-ins exceeding 12 guests: surcharge or conversion to per-head pricing may apply immediately. Children count toward headcount.
Time & Extensions
Minimum booking 1 hour; extensions charged in 30-minute blocks at the same rate and only if the next slot is free.
Late starts do not extend finish time. Overstaying without notice may incur additional charges.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-shows
Any cancellation (any notice): no refunds.
Reschedule only with 48+ hours’ notice (subject to availability).
Inside 48 hours or no-show: no refund or credit.
Conduct, Safety & Equipment
Keep doors closed to manage noise. Handle microphones, screens and controllers with care; damage or misuse may be charged at repair or replacement cost.
RSA applies; no BYO (birthday cakes by prior arrangement only). Spills/damage may incur reasonable cleaning or repair fees.
Sessions may be ended without refund for unsafe or antisocial behaviour.
Venue Fault / Technical Issues
System failure (room cannot operate): full refund or reschedule.
Partial issues (e.g., one mic inoperative but session playable): Bar Credit may be offered at discretion.
Venue closure or double booking: full refund or reschedule.
7. Special Events & Promotions
Ticketed events (e.g., NYE, Halloween): no refunds; tickets may be transferred to another person.
Promotional offers/discounts: non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash; discount codes cannot be applied retroactively.
Complimentary/free tickets: no cash value; not eligible for refund or credit if unused.
8. Food & Drink Purchases
Change of mind: no refunds.
Wrong or faulty item (e.g., flat drink, undercooked food): replace or Bar Credit.
Allergy handling: if disclosed in advance and the error is ours, refund or replacement; if not disclosed, refund does not apply.
Outside food: not permitted (birthday cakes by prior arrangement only).
9. Merchandise & Gift Cards
Change of mind: no refunds; unopened items may be exchanged at discretion.
Faulty item: refund or exchange per ACL.
Gift cards: minimum 3-year validity; lost or stolen cards are not replaceable.
10. Bar Credit, Tabs & Vouchers
Bar Credit issued for no-shows or reductions is intended for event-day use. Any remaining balance may be issued as a dated Voucher (expiry printed, typically 3 months, unless otherwise stated). Prepaid bar tabs are applied to the group account on the event day. Credit/Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, cannot be replaced if lost or stolen, and are subject to the printed expiry unless the law requires otherwise.
11. Force Majeure
Fore Fun is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, power outage, public health orders, major transport disruptions). In such cases, Fore Fun will act in good faith to reschedule or credit affected bookings.
12. Liability & Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fore Fun is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies under the ACL. Guests are responsible for their conduct and for loss or damage caused by breach of these Terms or unsafe behaviour.
13. Changes to These Terms
Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time of booking or venue entry applies. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Material changes affecting existing bookings will be communicated where reasonable.
